There's nothing quite like this time of anticipation. Whether it's your first or fifth, you're only pregnant for a short time. Sure, it feels like forever when you are pregnant (trust me, I've been there!), but once your baby is born, you realize how quickly that time went!

Some of my favorite photos are from when I was pregnant. It's mind boggling to look back and realize I didn't know that little person inside me yet. Once they arrive, I can't imagine what life would be like with them - and those photos remind of the season of waiting!

At the end of pregnancy you feel tired and not like yourself, it might not seem worth the effort to take the photos. I felt that way when I was pregnant with my daughter and almost didn't take them - but now they are not some of my most treasured photos! Trust me and take the photos - you won't regret it.

It's important to find the sweet spot with taking maternity photos! You want to be showing enough that we can see your gorgeous bump, but don't want to wait to long so that you are uncomfortable! With my first baby, I waited right until the very end and had to pee the whole session! I'd recommend shooting sometime between 28-32 weeks. Really it's just based on you and how you're feeling! If you'd like sooner or later - that's fine with me. I just want you to feel your best!

When should we take our pictures?

The sooner the better! My weekends tend to fill up pretty quickly - especially during the spring and fall, so the sooner you reach out to me, the more likely you are to get your desired date!

To reserve your date, I'll need a signed contract and deposit. And if something comes up and you need to change your date, just let me know!
