Newborn

Sometimes a home holds more than our everyday memories—it holds the love, loss, and hope that shape a family’s story.

This remains one of the most meaningful sessions I have ever photographed. After documenting this family before, I returned to their lovingly renovated 1800s farmhouse to welcome their newest baby girl—exactly one year after the stillbirth of their daughter.

With Mom, Dad, her big sister, and big brother gathered close in the warm sunlight, the morning held so much love, remembrance, grief, and gratitude.

It was this session that made me fall deeply in love with the honesty and intimacy of photographing families at home.

The photos Jessica took of my
family are some of my most favorites ever! 10/10 would recommend her
to ANYONE.

Jessica has such a wonderful way with people and of making you feel comfortable in front of a camera. She is so personable and you can tell she truly loves what she does, and it shows through her beautiful photos.
